The Franklin River a true wilderness experience is that anything can happen. No trip down the Franklin River is ever exactly the same as the last. We camp on the river in bivvy bags under tarpaulins, maximising the fun while minimising our impact on the environment.
Local produce
Just because you are camping doesn’t mean you have to rough it. The Tasmanian climate is great for keeping food fresh, you will be surprised what we can fit on our rafts. Plenty of fresh vegetables and enough meat to keep even the biggest carnivore happy.
Sustainability
To preserve this pristine environment, we lead only small group expeditions. We provide the finest equipment and are committed to leaving no trace, carrying out all waste, including our own. Our toilet system is rather clever... but some things are best left as a surprise for the trip.
